Boomerang Bags are reusable bags made by volunteers. The bags are made using donated fabric and will be placed in shops for you to borrow as you need. Our goal is to reduce plastic pollution in our community. Join our sewing bee. All skill levels welcome, all materials included!

The Jelly Roll Rug is all the rage! Grab a seat early as this workshop always sells out. Make it seasonal, make it fancy, pick your fabrics to match your decor. We have the pattern, precut batting strips and precut fabric in stock, or bring your own.

This comprehensive course will guide you through the construction of a lap-sized quilt. You'll be taken step by step through the quilting process, from fabric selection to piecing, sandwiching, quilting, and binding your quilt. 6 sessions of 2.5 hours each, either in the daytime or the evening.

If you would like to build on your quilting skills this Intermediate Beginner class is for you. In this 6-week class we will manipulate traditional blocks to create a modern version of the Jacob?s Ladder pattern in a generous lap sized quilt. The class will focus on accuracy in construction and build your confidence in fabric & colour selection - all in a fun, supportive environment.

This 3 hour certification teaches the basics of quilting using a long arm machine. A hands-on class, you will practice freehand quilting as well as learn how to use a pantograph design. We provide all the materials. Upon completion you will have 3 hour of bonus rental time you can book to complete your own quilt. A maximum of 4 participants.

The Retreat Bag is an attractive zippered pouch with a wide base and a wide structured opening. This is a great workshop for learning beginner bag skills such as installing a zipper, introduction of hardware and general bag construction techniques.

Join instructor Sarah Wilson in this 2.5-hour workshop. Learn how to make a lined pouch with a zipper closure. Choose between box corners or suede corners to finish your bag. These are addictive to make and this class will leave you wanting to sew more of them! This is a beginner course. However it is suggested that you have some experience using your sewing machine.

This beginner-level class will take you through the steps of tracing a pattern and sewing your very own woven top! Learn different ways of finishing seams with woven fabrics, learn how to make measurements to ensure your top fits, and meet fellow makers in the community!
