Bag of the Month - Series 2

In this 3 part workshop series you will explore 3 patterns by Anna Graham of Noodlehead. The workshop fee includes all patterns, hardware and stabilizers!

Workshop 1: Minimalist Wallet

A fun and functional wallet that lets you bring the essentials wherever you go. Sew the regular
size or mini! Choose a leather accent or a fabric one for the snap closure for plenty of
sophisticated detail. A zippered pocket and card slots keep coins and cards organized, while a
long pocket behind the zippered pocket is great for cash (mini and regular) and a phone
(regular size)

Special features:
 two sizes to sew! Regular size wallet has three card slots (holds cards vertically), mini has
a front card slot
 zippered pocket for coins
 long pocket behind zippered pocket
 a quick sew that is great for using up scraps
 makes a great gift

Workshop 2: Makers Tote

This carry-all tote is for the makers, the creatives, and the go-getters. It’s my spin on
a classic doctor’s bag, but designed with handy on-the-go storage in mind. Perfect
for kids and adults alike, this tote will be sure to keep whatever you need close at
hand and organized. Please make note of the recommended skill level for this
particular pattern.

Special features:
 2 sizes!
 Zippered back pocket
 Top zipper closure (optional)
 interior pockets
 Great for portable craft supply storage!

Workshop 3 : Sandhill Sling

Sew this sling style bag to carry your daily necessities or to take for travel. It’s
convenient sling design allows for easy access as well as being out of the way when
you’re not using it. It is compact yet roomy enough for the essentials. Choose from a
front zippered pocket (View A) or a patch pocket (View B), both come in handy for
quick access to smaller items. An adjustable strap makes it easy to wear. Perfect for
biking, hiking, or daily use!

This workshop is suited for adults (age 15+)

We do have COVID protocol in place at the shop: we have reduced the number of seats available to ensure social distancing and request you bring a mask to wear when necessary.  The workstations and machines will be sanitized before & after each class.

Instructor Bio: Lindsay Nichols is the owner and operator of Purple Door Designs, specializing in creating Purses, Bags, Wallets, clothing and accessories. Having grown up sitting on the floor in her mother's sewing room is how Lindsay's love of fabric and design brought a passion to life in the form of a thriving and successful home based business. What started out as sewing simple bags and wallets very quickly expanded into design and production of fashionable and sturdy accessories sold mostly via her Facebook page and Instagram account. Buying clothing for her tall skinny children became very challenging and accidentally developed into her creating "grow with me" clothing for children and subsequently adult wear. Lindsay prides herself on a primarily "ME MADE" wardrobe from inside to outside. Lindsay buys Canadian fabrics, Shops Canadian and Believes in Local.
