One-Block Wonder Workshop

Unleash your creativity & make your own unique one-of-a-kind quilt using Maxine Rosenthal's One-Block Wonder Technique!

Join Colleen McConnell (aka One-Block Wonder Woman!) in this 3-day workshop and learn how to transform a single fabric - yep, just one fabric - into a work of art! 

A WONDER-ful project to hone for your accuracy in cutting & piecing!  An excellent follow-up to our Learn To Quilt series.



You must have one of Maxine Rosenthal's books:  One-Block Wonders or One-Block Wonders of The World. Please select when signing up. If you already own a One-Block Wonder book, let us know and we will refund that portion to you!


ADDITIONAL SUPPLIES NEEDED:

• 4 - 5 meters of fabric (18-24" repeat recommended).  Please note that wide backs and sateen cottons are not suitable for this workshop.
• Flat-head pins
• Rotary cutter & cutting mat
• 60-degree Triangle Ruler - we recommended the June Tailor Easy Equals ruler

This class is suited for adults (age 15+)


All workshop participants are required to sign a waiver prior to the workshop. The entire waiver can be viewed at the bottom of our classes page. (East Coast Quilt Co. Workshop Waiver)

WORKSHOP CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you cannot attend a workshop (either one-day, or a multi-day series) and it is 7 or more days before the start date, you will receive a store credit for 75% of the value of the workshop with a 30-day expiry date. If you cancel less than 7 days before the start of the workshop, you will NOT receive a refund or store credit. No credit or refund will be given for a "no-show" in the workshop regardless of the reason. So please ensure that you can attend before signing up.  EAST COAST QUILT Co reserves the right to cancel workshops/events for any reason. If this happens, you will be refunded your full workshop fee.

WHAT IS IN A BASIC SEWING KIT: 
For most of our workshops we ask you to bring a 'basic sewing kit' which usually contains: rotary cutter and/or scissors, small snipping scissors, straight pins & a pin cushion or collector, seam ripper, a spool of neutral 50 wt cotton thread, extra bobbins, notebook & pen/pencil, ruler(s), etc.).
