The perfect travel companion, this functional bag includes a comfortable padded adjustable carrying strap and quick-grab side handles, as well as a handy trolley sleeve on back to secure the bag to rolling luggage.
Zippered and slip pockets on the front, back, and ends plus a full-height zippered pocket and three more slip pockets inside will keep everything organized and close at hand.
Optional buttons on the bottom reduce wear.

This workshop will run 10am - 5pm for both days. It will be an instensive bag making session, and it is recommended that participants have some bag making experience. We will be using foam as a main stabilizer, quilting all bag panels, installing hardware, constructing zipper and slip pockets, straps, using mesh, foldover elastic and making bias seam binding as a finishing technique.
Lunch will be provided for both days and selections will be made available prior to the workshop.
Paper Pattern will be supplied, however all other supplies are the responsibilty of the participants. Students will enjoy a 15% discount on all supplies purchased.

As of October 22, 2021 all workshop participants and East Coast Quilt Co. staff will be required to provide a valid COVID-19 Vaccination Record QR Code. COVID protocol is in place: all participants must wear a mask while moving around the shop. Masks can be removed at the individual workspaces as long as physical distancing of 6 feet can be maintained. Machines and work surfaces are sanitized before and after sessions.
CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you cannot attend a class and it is 7 or more days before class, you will receive a store credit for 75% of the value of the class with a 30-day expiry date. If you cancel less than 7 days before class, you will NOT receive a refund or store credit. No credit or refund will be given for a "no show" in class regardless of reason. So please ensure that you are able to attend before signing up. East Coast Quilt Co reserves the right to cancel classes/events for any reason. If this happens, you will be refunded your full class fee.
WHAT IS IN A BASIC SEWING KIT:
For most of our classes we ask you to bring a 'basic sewing kit' which usually contains: rotary cutter and/or scissors, small snipping scissors, straight pins & a pin cushion or collector, seam ripper, a spool of neutral 50 wt cotton thread, extra bobbins, notebook & pen/pencil, ruler(s), etc.).
