English Paper Piecing Club - Astro Quilt
For confident beginners or seasoned quilters, ASTRO is an English paper-pieced project that will delight anyone. The shapes in ASTRO play together to create depth and the fun illusion of layered triangles. ASTRO was designed for Libs' RANCHO RELAXO fabric collection, but the pattern also works well with a variety of small to medium prints or solids.
ASTRO measures 30" x 41-1/2" so it's perfect as a crib size quilt or wall-hanging project.
This kit includes all the pre-cut papers required for the project as well as complete pattern instructions. Designed by Libs Elliott and made by PaperPieces.comSUPPLIES NEEDED:
- Sharpes or Milliners Needles (size 10 or 11)
- Glue pen & refills for basting
- 60-degree ruler - we suggest the Easy Equals ruler by June Tailor
- Wonderclips
- Quilting ruler
Fabric kits with the Libs Elliott Rancho Relaxo fabric collection will be available upon request while supplies last.
This class is suited for adults (age 15+)

WORKSHOP CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you cannot attend a workshop (either one-day, or a multi-day series) and it is 7 or more days before the start date, you will receive a store credit for 75% of the value of the workshop with a 30-day expiry date. If you cancel less than 7 days before the start of the workshop, you will NOT receive a refund or store credit. No credit or refund will be given for a "no-show" in the workshop regardless of the reason. So please ensure that you can attend before signing up. EAST COAST QUILT Co reserves the right to cancel workshops/events for any reason. If this happens, you will be refunded your full workshop fee.
WHAT IS IN A BASIC SEWING KIT:
For most of our workshops we ask you to bring a 'basic sewing kit' which usually contains: rotary cutter and/or scissors, small snipping scissors, straight pins & a pin cushion or collector, seam ripper, a spool of neutral 50 wt cotton thread, extra bobbins, notebook & pen/pencil, ruler(s), etc.).

As a lover of all things textiles, Jessica brings traditional crafts to light through exploration and teaching. For over 6 years she has been teaching private and public workshops in sewing, stitching, and weaving. Jessica is passionate about creating community through making and sharing craft knowledge with others. |
