Deck the Boughs: 12 Hand Embroidered Ornaments

Deck the boughs on your Christmas tree with snowflakes and stockings, jingle bells, and mittens! Join Instructor Jess McDonald in this hands-on, festive stitch along with Kathy Schmitz’s “Deck the Boughs” embroidery pattern! Stitch them up for yourself or as gifts!

Through this 8-week series, you will learn how to transfer designs to cloth, embroider with a variety of new stitches, and learn how to finish these adorable ornaments with felt, twine, and bells! The "Deck the Boughs" pattern includes 12 hand embroidery designs to stitch up along with the finishing directions to make these sweet ornaments. Finished ornaments measure about 2.5in each.

Stitching is a slow and thoughtful process that yields beautiful results with patience and care. Students will work on the project in class and take it home to finish and tie in any loose ends before returning to class the following week.  Students must have some basic knowledge of embroidery or have taken a beginner embroidery class in the past.
