CLASS OUTLINE
Day 1: Course overview, show and share, auditioning fabrics, cutting & piecing
Day 2: Trim, layout, and assemble
Please note there is a 2-week break for students to complete homework!
MATERIALS & SUPPLIES
- Showering Stars Pattern by Robin Pickens (included in workshop fee!)
- Ruler - 6 x 24 suggested
- Feature Fabric - 1 jelly roll or 28 2.5-inch strips
- Background Fabric - 4m
- Binding Fabric - 0.5m
All workshop participants are required to sign a waiver at the start of the workshop. The entire waiver can be viewed at the bottom of our classes page. (East Coast Quilt Co. Workshop Waiver)
WORKSHOP CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you cannot attend a workshop (either one-day or a multi-day series) and it is 7 or more days before the start date, you will receive a store credit for 75% of the value of the workshop with a 30-day expiry date. If you cancel less than 7 days before the start of the workshop, you will NOT receive a refund or store credit. No credit or refund will be given for a "no-show" in the workshop regardless of the reason. So please ensure that you can attend before signing up. EAST COAST QUILT Co reserves the right to cancel workshops/events for any reason. If this happens, you will be refunded your full workshop fee.
WHAT IS IN A BASIC SEWING KIT:
For most of our workshops we ask you to bring a 'basic sewing kit' which usually contains: a rotary cutter and/or scissors, small snipping scissors, straight pins & a pin cushion or collector, a seam ripper, a spool of neutral 50 wt cotton thread, extra bobbins, notebook & pen/pencil, ruler(s), etc.).
