Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP) for Beginners
In this one-day workshop, join instructor David Thornhill as you learn the basic principles of Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP) and how to sew sharp points with precision. Participants will also learn how to minimize wastage of fabric.
FPP is a way of creating quilt blocks by sewing fabric to template-like paper using your sewing machine. It yields incredibly accurate quilt blocks and is often used to create precise shapes or pictures or to sew very small pieces or odd angles.
Students have TWO options for this workshop - choose between David's FREE Jack O Lantern Design, or Happy Sew Lucky's Swallow pattern! If doing the swallow, students must purchase their own pattern to protect copyrights.
