Learn to Quilt - Level 1 - The Basics
Ready to jump into the world of quilting!? Perfect! It's what we do best here at East Coast Quilt co!
This 6 session workshop series is an introduction to the basics of quilting. Learn how to sew a 1/4-inch seam, the importance of ironing/ pressing, nesting seams, adding a border, sandwiching the batting and backing layers, and binding!
No need to worry about cutting in this workshop! This workshop is designed to perfect stitching your seams and complete a small quilt project. This quilt will work well as a wall hanging, lap or baby quilt, or even for your favourite pet!
All materials are included in the registration fee, and sewing machines are available for use as well!

This class is suited for adults (age 15+)

WORKSHOP CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you cannot attend a workshop (either one-day, or a multi-day series) and it is 14 or more days before the start date, you will receive a store credit for 75% of the value of the workshop. If you cancel less than 14 days before the start of the workshop, you will NOT receive a refund or store credit. No credit or refund will be given for a "no-show" in the workshop regardless of the reason. So please ensure that you can attend before signing up. EAST COAST QUILT Co reserves the right to cancel workshops/events for any reason. If this happens, you will be refunded your full workshop fee.
