Seed Packet Quilt
Kaffe Fasset’s fabrics will plant a seed of inspiration! Stitch this unique quilt and watch it bloom before your eyes. The Seed Packet quilt by Kaffe Fassett is a fun quilt to make with all his floral fabrics. Each one is unique! Grab a fussy cutting ruler to help you with all the cutting of the floral fabrics. The quilt uses a variety of large, medium, and small prints to make your quilt a success. You will also learn a foolproof way to make a four-patch called the ‘One Dip Rule’. Participants should have the top finished at the end of two days.
All cutting will be done in class!

You will need 1⁄4 to 2⁄3 metre each of 15-20 different Kaffe floral print fabrics in a variety of styles, scales, and hues.

5.5 metres of backing (or 2.5 metres at 108”)

80" x 100" batting

8 1/2" x 8 1/2" square acrylic ruler

4 1/2 " x 4 1/2 " square acrylic ruler
- Sewing thread to match
This class is suited for adults (age 15+)

WORKSHOP CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you cannot attend a workshop (either one-day, or a multi-day series) and it is 14 or more days before the start date, you will receive a store credit for 75% of the value of the workshop. If you cancel less than 14 days before the start of the workshop, you will NOT receive a refund or store credit. No credit or refund will be given for a "no-show" in the workshop regardless of the reason. So please ensure that you can attend before signing up. EAST COAST QUILT Co reserves the right to cancel workshops/events for any reason. If this happens, you will be refunded your full workshop fee.
WHAT IS IN A BASIC SEWING KIT:
For most of our workshops we ask you to bring a 'basic sewing kit' which usually contains: a rotary cutter and/or scissors, small snipping scissors, straight pins & a pin cushion or collector, a seam ripper, a spool of neutral 50 wt cotton thread, extra bobbins, notebook & pen/pencil, ruler(s), etc.).
