Rigid Heddle Weaving: Cotton Tea Towels

This workshop will build upon the foundations laid in the Intro to Rigid Heddle Weaving workshop! Having learned to dress the loom and weave a simple project with wool, this next class will introduce students to working with 4/8 cotton thread.

Students will also learn the basics of weave design including more about weave structures and colour theory. We will also be working with multiple colours in both the warp and the weft, so students can expand their weaving creativity! By the end of this workshop series, you will have two lovely tea towels to take home.

Please note that this workshop runs twice per week for two weeks.

Two colours of 4/8 cotton
