Creative Stitching Workshop Series

Using scraps, we will create a base to stitch in by handsewing each piece together in a crazy quilt effect. Once completed, we will plan out our designs taking inspiration from traditional embroidery motifs, slow stitching, and sashiko designs.
This free-flowing, fabric waste diversion, create-as-you-go workshop is perfect for those interested in exploring the art form in a creatively supportive environment. Students will have finished a unique piece of hand sewn and hand embellished cloth that can be used as an art piece or incorporated into future projects such as a bag, needle case, or quilt block.
