Open Studio 2026 - Whale Studio

Have a project you are working on but need a larger working space to do so, or just don't want to work alone? Get the smell of house off ya and use our space! Cutting table, ironing boards, bernette sewing machines...all available for your use! Drop in and sew in one of our workshop spaces! Open Studio is perfect for those who would like to utilize our domestic machines and space to work on their projects.

This is a non-guided session, and guests must know how to operate all tools and machinery. 

What we provide!
Shared studio space equipped with ironing boards, irons, multiple design walls, whiteboard, two large cutting tables, mechanical sewing machines, domestic serger, rulers, cutting mats, multiple desks and chairs to accommodate up to 6 people. We also offer printing services at $0.25 per page on letter-size paper.

This is a SHARED studio space. If you would like to book the space to yourself, please book out all 6 seats for that time slot. 

What you bring! 
All the necessary fabric, supplies, patterns, threads and notions to complete your project OR plan to purchase them at the shop with a 15% discount!

Cost! 
$10 per time slot!

We have three time slots available:
10 am to 1 pm
130 pm to 430 pm
5 to 8 pm

If you'd like to sign up for more than one time slot, please make sure to add each session to your cart! Limited capacity available. Please see our schedule for available days/times and simply register to secure your spot! 

PLEASE NOTE
- Open Studio is not recommended for beginners with little to no sewing experience. 
- The price is for access to the studio without instruction. If you require assistance with your project, please send us an email at eastcoastclasses@gmail.com to book a private session!
- Our schedule is subject to change to support our ongoing workshops
- There are no refunds on Open Studio signups
- This is a shared studio space! Sharing is caring and helps foster craft community 

Attendees must be 18 years or older unless accompanied by an adult.
