Intro to Crazy Quilting

Crazy Quilting is a generations old traditional quilting method. Using various scraps & fun stitching to create irregular shapes for a whimsical, one-of-a-kind quilt! 

Join instructor Nicole House as she walks you through the stitch-and-flip method, decorative stitching, and tips + tricks to making your very own crazy quilt block. 

A muslin fat quarter and a small serving from our scrap buffet is included in workshop fee - everything you need to get going with this technique building workshop. Participants are welcome to bring their own scraps as well to incorporate. 

Please bring along your sewing machine (we have classroom models available for rent if needed), and a basic sewing kit! 

This class is suited for adults (age 15+)

All workshop participants are required to sign a waiver before the workshop. The entire waiver can be viewed at the bottom of our classes page. (East Coast Quilt Co. Workshop Waiver)

WORKSHOP CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you cannot attend a workshop (either a one-day, or a multi-day series) and it is 14 or more days before the start date, you will receive a store credit for 75% of the value of the workshop. If you cancel less than 14 days before the start of the workshop, you will NOT receive a refund or store credit. No credit or refund will be given for a "no-show" in the workshop, regardless of the reason. So please ensure that you can attend before signing up.  EAST COAST QUILT Co reserves the right to cancel workshops/events for any reason. If this happens, you will be refunded your full workshop fee.

WHAT IS IN A BASIC SEWING KIT: 
For most of our workshops we ask you to bring a 'basic sewing kit' which usually contains: a rotary cutter and/or scissors, small snipping scissors, straight pins & a pin cushion or collector, a seam ripper, a spool of neutral 50 wt cotton thread, extra bobbins, notebook & pen/pencil, ruler(s), etc.).
