YOUTH SUMMER CAMP - Textiles Level 1
Five full days, full of fun & interesting projects. Focus on creative process with sewing machine and hand crafting skills. Sewing machines & all materials provided. Ages 9 to 13.
Participants must bring their lunch and snacks. We have a microwave, fridge, and kettle on site.
Duration: 9 am - 4 pm
Projects will include the following*
- Pin cushion
- Felt Creature
- Trucker Hat with fabric panel
- Fabric belt
- Wrap top
All workshop participants are required to sign a waiver prior to the workshop. The entire waiver can be viewed at the bottom of our classes page. (East Coast Quilt Co. Workshop Waiver). Parent or guardian will be required to sign waiver on first day of camp.
WORKSHOP CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you cannot attend a workshop (either one-day, or a multi-day series) and it is 14 or more days before the start date, you will receive a store credit for 75% of the value of the workshop. If you cancel less than 14 days before the start of the workshop, you will NOT receive a refund or store credit. No credit or refund will be given for a "no-show" in the workshop regardless of the reason. So please ensure that you can attend before signing up. EAST COAST QUILT Co reserves the right to cancel workshops/events for any reason. If this happens, you will be refunded your full workshop fee.
SCENT AWARENESS
Scented products can trigger serious health reactions in folks with asthma, migraines, allergies or chemical sensitivities. Please help us maintain a healthy environment for everyone by not wearing scented products.

| Instructor Bio: | Hello! My name is Helena, I like to wear fun earrings and big colourful pants. I also know a lot about cartoons and comic books. I have been a textiles artist for most of my life! I tend to focus more on useful projects made from scrap or projects that involve repairing the things I already have! I believe that sewing is a skill that everyone should learn. |
