Pumpkin Memories - Pillow Cover

Finished Size 26½in x 17¼in (67.3cm x 43.8cm)

Piece, quilt, and back this festive piece over the course of 3 evenings! Participants will have various options of styling and finishing their pillow cover - whether they want to do classic stitch-in-the-ditch quilting or give free motion stitching a try! Envelope fold backing will be covered, buttons w/buttonholes optional. 

This class is suited for adults (age 15+)
This project is for intermediate-advanced sewists. 

All workshop participants are required to sign a waiver before the workshop. The entire waiver can be viewed at the bottom of our classes page. (East Coast Quilt Co. Workshop Waiver)

WORKSHOP CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you cannot attend a workshop (either one-day, or a multi-day series) and it is 14 or more days before the start date, you will receive a store credit for 75% of the value of the workshop. If you cancel less than 14 days before the start of the workshop, you will NOT receive a refund or store credit. No credit or refund will be given for a "no-show" in the workshop regardless of the reason. So please ensure that you can attend before signing up.  EAST COAST QUILT Co reserves the right to cancel workshops/events for any reason. If this happens, you will be refunded your full workshop fee.


WHAT IS IN A BASIC SEWING KIT: 
For most of our workshops we ask you to bring a 'basic sewing kit' which usually contains: a rotary cutter and/or scissors, small snipping scissors, straight pins & a pin cushion or collector, a seam ripper, a spool of neutral 50 wt cotton thread, extra bobbins, notebook & pen/pencil, ruler(s), etc.)

SCENT AWARENESS
Scented products can trigger serious health reactions in folks with asthma, migraines, allergies or chemical sensitivities. Please help us maintain a healthy environment for everyone by not wearing scented products. 


Skill Level: Advanced
Skill Details: This is an experienced/advanced level course, participants should have a good working knowledge on how to use their sewing machine and ability to obtain an accurate 1/4” seam allowance. If client chooses to install buttons, then knowledge of how to sew button holes on their machine is crucial. Also if client decides to do free motion quilting then they should ensure their machine is able to do so and have the right foot with them as straight stitch and stitch in the ditch will be offered during class.

Requirements: Please download PDF pattern for amounts. A detailed description of pre-cutting work to be done prior to workshop start will be emailed out ~10 days before start date.

Instructor Bio: Nicole House is a passionate quilter who loves spending time at the sewing machine and sharing what she has learned along the way. With an easy going teaching style and a genuine love for the craft, Nicole encourages students to have fun, build confidence, and enjoy the process of quilting.
