Classic Pajama Pants

If you've wanted to get into making your own clothes, this is where to start! 

Over 3 sessions, you will learn all about reading and understanding patterns, proper cutting techniques, and the best practices for sewing and finishing garments. 



This workshop will focus on creating a woven pair of pajama pants - choose from cotton for flannel! Optional pockets & drawstring features. Elastic waistband finish. 

This is suitable for confident beginner - students should be familiar with using sewing machine and have basic sewing skills. 

Materials Needed:
FREE Pattern from Ellie & Mac 
2.7-3 meters of woven fabric - cotton or flannel recommended 
Optional Drawstring 
Basic sewing kit + coordinating thread 

Materials included:
Elastic for waistband
Sewing machines & sergers provided for workshop use

WORKSHOP CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you cannot attend a workshop (either one-day, or a multi-day series) and it is 14 or more days before the start date, you will receive a store credit for 75% of the value of the workshop. If you cancel less than 14 days before the start of the workshop, you will NOT receive a refund or store credit. No credit or refund will be given for a "no-show" in the workshop regardless of the reason. So please ensure that you can attend before signing up.  EAST COAST QUILT Co reserves the right to cancel workshops/events for any reason. If this happens, you will be refunded your full workshop fee.

WHAT IS IN A BASIC SEWING KIT: 
For most of our workshops we ask you to bring a 'basic sewing kit' which usually contains: rotary cutter and/or scissors, small snipping scissors, straight pins & a pin cushion or collector, seam ripper, a spool of neutral 50 wt cotton thread, extra bobbins, notebook & pen/pencil, ruler(s), etc.).
