Stitch Social



ECQco's Stitch Social is a monthly gathering for people to get together and stitch with other needlework enthusiasts, facilitated by textile artist, Jess McDonald. This social is for anyone with stitching experience wanting to work on their existing projects and make new stitch friends in an inspirational environment!


Participants will receive a 15% off discount for any purchases made. Self-serve coffee, tea, and snacks are provided!

This class is suited for adults (age 15+)


All workshop participants are required to sign a waiver prior to the workshop. The entire waiver can be viewed at the bottom of our classes page. (East Coast Quilt Co. Workshop Waiver)

WORKSHOP CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you cannot attend a workshop (either one-day, or a multi-day series) and it is 7 or more days before the start date, you will receive a store credit for 75% of the value of the workshop with a 30-day expiry date. If you cancel less than 7 days before the start of the workshop, you will NOT receive a refund or store credit. No credit or refund will be given for a "no-show" in the workshop regardless of the reason. So please ensure that you can attend before signing up.  EAST COAST QUILT Co reserves the right to cancel workshops/events for any reason. If this happens, you will be refunded your full workshop fee.

Instructor: Jessica McDonald
Instructor Bio: Jessica McDonald (BFA 2019) is a textile artist based here in St. John's, Newfoundland. As a lover of all things textiles, Jessica brings traditional crafts to light through exploration and teaching. For over 6 years she has been teaching private and public workshops in sewing, stitching, and weaving. Jessica is passionate about creating community through making and sharing craft knowledge with others.
