All we can say is...WOW. Our staff are head over heels in LOVE with these bold and vibrant prints designed by Melody Miller. Rise is inspired by 1960's & 70's era art & illustration, and evokes retro vibes reminiscent of that bold and colorful time. Printed on silky 100% cotton sateen fabrics, these prints work for both quilting and apparel projects.

- - - I SPY Swap - Round 2 Winter 2021 - - -
Round 2 of our modern I SPY Swap is here!
Signing up and taking part in this program is completely free!
Sign up and drop off your squares by January 31st, 2021
Didn't participate in Round 1? Not a problem, you can join in on any Round and keep participating until you achieve the number of blocks you want! Each round will net you 32 different I Spy 5 -inch square blocks.
What's an I SPY, you say?
An I SPY quilt features novelty cottons and prints with images that are easily identifiable & would capture a child's attention. The quilt is made to engage a young one in a game of I SPY, with them searching over the blocks of the quilt to find the images. "I Spy with my little eye....an apple! a tractor! a raccoon!" Please try to select prints with a modern vibe!
The swap is a fun and inexpensive way to accumulate the multiple images needed for an I SPY Quilt. All you need to do is buy 0.6 meters of cotton fabric and cut it into 32 5" x 5" squares, submit them to the shop, and at the end of the event you will receive the same amount of fabric back but in an assortment of new and exciting prints!
This swap is open to those outside of St. John's. You are responsible for mailing/delivering your 5 x 5 charms to the shop by the January 31 deadline. The cost for us to mail your newly assorted 5 x 5 charms to you is $6.00; the shipping option is available to you with registration.
