Entrepreneurship is a challenge.
And those challenges can be amplified when a partnership is added to the mix.
It requires a certain chemistry to make it work.
We are such different personalities and yet also so similar,
with a shared vision and strong work ethic.
We are each other’s sounding board and both play the devil’s advocate when needed.
We have built a strong business relationship,
an enduring friendship,
and a bond that has seen us through the various demands of a growing enterprise.
We often refer to ECQco as a furnace or beast that constantly needs to be fed - with products, ideas, and energy. As quickly as we hit the wall an exhilarating idea or challenge will pop up and we are on track again, manifesting our dreams.
And we have to acknowledge those you don’t see in this picture: our incredible team standing in the wings, also carrying a share of the load. They are a tangly, creative, quirky bunch, each of whom brings their best into the shop on every shift. We would not have made it without them.
The most important aspect of the ECQco team and community is reliance and trust.
