COUPONS
For every dollar spent in-store or online on eligible products, before taxes, you earn a point! After 300 points you are issued a $20 coupon on your account. Coupons never expire! You can redeem one (1) coupon per transaction. We reserve the right to limit the number of coupons earned on a single item: purchases of $6000 and over earn a maximum of twenty (20) loyalty coupons (equals a $400 discount).

PLEASE NOTE: Coupons are one-time use only and not reversible or refundable.

MACHINE PURCHASES
We are dealers for BERNINA Canada, BROTHER Canada & APQS. Every machine sale at East Coast Quilt co comes with a FREE machine orientation lesson! 


HOW LONG BEFORE MY ORDER IS SHIPPED?
We normally ship within 1 to 3 business days.

SHIPPING: 

Shipping is a necessary evil! And a costly one. We do not attempt to make money with our shipping charges. Shipping is a magic combination of weight & dimension; the cost of it, especially from Newfoundland, can be gobsmacking.  

We ship the most economical and efficient option using Canada Post, UPS, Purolator, and/or Canpar. Most parcels can be tracked, however, some orders are shipped by letter mail which is not tracked.

We do offer Local Delivery in the St. John's Metro area on Mondays and Thursdays after 4pm.  This includes: Torbay, Portugal Cove/St Philips, Mount Pearl and Paradise as well as CBS on Thursdays only. Delivery is free on orders of $50 and over (before tax).

**PLEASE NOTE** There are several locations across Canada designated as 'remote areas' by Canada Post and, unfortunately, these locations do not qualify for our shipping rates as posted.  If we discover you are one of the locations while we are processing your order, we will reach out to you prior to shipping with a revised shipping quote and work out a solution to get the goods to you.

*FREIGHT INTENSIVE* - Machines, full bolts, and other oversized items are subject to additional shipping charges. You will be contacted with a shipping rate before these items are shipped.

RETURN POLICY:
We do not offer refunds for books, patterns, scissors, or blades. No refunds on sale items, special orders, gift certificates, fabric cuts, or items not in their original packaging. For everything else, we will refund you up to 30 days after your purchase. The product must be in new condition, smoke-free, and contain no pet hair or other flaws. Once we receive and inspect your return, your refund will be issued. Please note this can take up to 10 business days.

If you received an item in error, OOPS! Our apologies.  Please contact us and we will send you a pre-paid envelope so you can return it to us easily. We'll ship you the correct item & we pay for shipping on any mistakes we make.

 

SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS: 
A $25 non-refundable deposit is required for special order items. If we cannot fulfill your request, we will refund this amount.

 

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you cannot attend a class and it is seven (7) or more days before class, you will receive a store credit for 75% of the value of the class. If you cancel less than seven (7) days before class, you will NOT receive a refund or store credit. 

No credit or refund will be given for a "no-show" in class regardless of the reason. So please ensure that you are able to attend before signing up. East Coast Quilt Co reserves the right to cancel classes/events for any reason.  If this happens, you will be refunded your full class fee.

PRICING POLICY:  
In the event of a pricing error on our website, we reserve the right to cancel or refund your order. Whether it be an undercharge or an overcharge, we will notify you of this before processing the order. 

 

PRIVACY POLICY: 
We do not share your email address or personal information. 


WHAT IS IN A BASIC SEWING KIT:
For most of our classes we ask you to bring a 'basic sewing kit' which usually contains a rotary cutter and/or scissors, small snipping scissors, straight pins & a pin cushion or collector, a seam ripper, a spool of neutral 50 wt cotton thread, extra bobbins, notebook & pen/pencil, ruler(s), etc.).
