FOUR BOYS and a NL GIRL - Cross Stitch Pattern - Tilting Stage

The image of a fishing stage in Newfoundland and Labrador is a quintessential sight of historic significance in a land devoted to sea harvest. The fishing platforms, stores and room (aka flakes and stages) of days gone by are becoming few and far between but can still be found in some small communities such as in Tilting on Fogo Island from where this design is inspired.

This design finishes at 7in X 5.5in large or 99 X 80 stitches large.
